Clinical Assistant Professor
The Center for Quality Medication Management Clinical Assistant Professor supervises the MTM process, physician contact, and patient interactions. The Clinical Assistant Professor performs preceptor duties for 4PD pharmacy students assigned to the center and supervises the residents. The Clinical Assistant Professor lectures in selected classes, leads small group discussions in selected pharmacy classes, participates in related research projects, and collaborates in publishing scholarly work.
CQM Clinical Pharmacists perform comprehensive medication reviews, complete patient chart quarterly reviews, and review the work of 4PD students. In addition, the clinical pharmacist participates in pharmacy student training, participates in operational meetings, and contributes to the overall MTM process.
The Clinical Associate contributes in the MTM process by setting up comprehensive medication reviews and speaking to patients regarding adherence issues.
